Originally from Yorkshire, Louise moved to Cumbria after qualifying from Newcastle dental school in 2011. She completed her foundation training at a dental practice in Wigton, and has also worked at a dental practice in Penrith where she obtained Denplan Excel accreditation, and she continues to work as a Denplan Excel accredited dentist here at St Helen’s. In 2013 she obtained the MFDS RCS(Ed) postgraduate diploma.
Louise joined the practice in June 2014. She enjoys all aspects of general dental practice, and aims to make your visit as friendly and relaxed as possible. In particular, helping to put anxious patients at ease and delivering preventative advice.
When Louise isn’t working she likes getting out into the great outdoors; hiking, climbing, cycling and mountain biking. She also enjoys gardening, growing vegetables, and cooking.
